Santuário

É verdadeiramente fantástica a capacidade da Madonna de escrever músicas sobre a minha vida. Secret Garden, que hei-de postar por aqui um dia, é o exemplo mais pungente deste fenómeno, mas há outras, nomeadamente Sanctuary.

No outro dia veio-me uma frase linda à cabeça: Who needs a smile, when a tear's so full of love. Acho esta frase tão incrivelmente bonita, tão verdadeira,... não sei se lhe chame romântica, acho que esse adjectivo é capaz de ser um pouco redutor.

Ocorreu-me esta frase quando estava a ver uma imagem do Yeshua - já não me lembro se era da Paixão, talvez fosse - e, por associação, me lembrei de uma parte d' A Paixão de Cristo, em que ele está na presença de Caifás, a ser julgado, e enquanto todos discutem sobre a sua condenação, a câmara aproxima-se e vemos uma única lágrima a cair-lhe pelo rosto. Acho esse momento um dos mais bonitos do filme inteiro; consegue capturar em dois segundos toda a essência da ideia do "Perdoa-os, porque não sabem o que fazem". Enfim, é mesmo bonito, e a frase tem tudo a ver.

A música é toda maravilhosa, se tiverem a oportunidade não deixem de a ouvir, que vale mesmo a pena. Deixo-vos a letra:
